From sunrise to late evenings, from Tokyo to Osaka to Kyoto - Japan has been absolutely amazing. I did a lot of research on photo spots in advance. The Odaiba area in Tokyo has a lot to offer including the Rainbow Bridge, the Soho Odaiba office complex as well as the teamLab Borderless digital art museum. Memory Lane in Shinkuku is fascinating and so are the city views from the various observation decks Tokyo has to offer including Roppongi Hills and Tokyo World Trade Center.

Osaka was a little bit unknown to me but I really liked the city. Quieter than Tokyo but equally offering great architecure and cool design throughout the city. Views from the Umeda Sky Building are particularly good.

Kyoto is great for temples and shrines. The Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is an Instagram hot spot, even at 6.30am it was crowded. Although I took a decent shot there, I found the Bamboo Forest slightly underwhelming. I think there are better photo spots in Kyoto.

A photographers’paradise, the Dolomites in Northern Italy are breathtaking. This was a dedicasted photo trip I was very much looking forward to and all my expectations were execeeded. The autumn colours were glorious, the landscape gorgeous and the hiking great fun.

Ibiza is strongly associated with clubbing and electronic music. Howewer in October the island is more quiet and provides a great opportunity to enjoy it without the crowds while its still warm.
